Sources you can check
The guides draw on training organisations, rescue services, equipment manufacturers, official event organisers, tourism information and local operators. Source links sit alongside factual information so you can see where it comes from.
A school can tell you what its course includes. A manufacturer can tell you which bar works with its kite. An organiser can publish a result. That does not automatically make any of them the right source for every other question.
Commercial sources are identified for what they are. A provider’s advertised course price is an example from that provider, not proof of an industry-wide price.
No invented experience
A researched guide is not a claim that its author visited every destination, rode every kite or interviewed every athlete. Original travel, product tests and interviews will be described as such when they exist. The photographs have their own credits and licenses.
There is no expert-reviewed badge on these articles. No named instructor has reviewed this release. Practical instruction and a local assessment remain essential for learning and choosing suitable conditions.
Safety and changing conditions
The site explains concepts and helps you prepare questions. It cannot assess your skills, equipment, a particular beach or the weather in front of you.
No static wind range, tide description or equipment table should be treated as permission to launch. Use qualified instruction, current local advice and the manual for the equipment you actually have. Emergency arrangements also depend on where you are.
Dates mean what they say
An article’s update date records editorial work, not a guarantee that every linked offer or event will remain unchanged. Prices, course terms, access rules, travel requirements and event calendars need checking with the responsible organisation before relying on them.
The competition calendar is a dated editorial collection, not a live results feed. Provisional, past and upcoming events should be clearly distinguished.
Recommendations and commercial relationships
The guide does not sell equipment, courses or trips. Links in this release point to sources and providers; there are no affiliate tracking parameters or paid ranking placements added by Kitesurfaddict. If a future article is sponsored or uses affiliate links, that relationship should be disclosed on the page.
“Best” needs a purpose and criteria. A ranking from a competition organiser is different from an editorial selection of interesting riders. A spot suitable for experienced wave riders can be the wrong place to learn.
Corrections
Please get in touch with the URL, the information that needs changing and a reliable source. A precise correction is much more helpful than a general rating. Important safety corrections should be checked and addressed before a page is promoted again.
